Final Farewell

12/25/17
The kids woke up to what has become a tradition, a crepe paper wall. The kids always love breaking through the wall. This year, they let Kalleigh go first. They are sad that George and Elsa Sparkle have left. The kids will miss them. See you next year.

Reindeer Games

12/24/17
Kalleigh and Anthony looked all over the house. They had a hard time finding George and Elsa Sparkle today. They finally found them in the bathtub. They were playing reindeer games with Cathleen, Kalleigh's doll. The kids got to play reindeer games too. So much fun!

Cabinet Funny Business

12/23/17
George and Elsa Sparkle are spreading holiday cheer. They wrapped a bunch of the kitchen cabinets and drawers with wrapping paper. Ironically, the wrapping paper has Christmas cookies and donuts on it. I guess that will teach me for leaving my wrapping paper around. Anthony loves it. He wants to keep it up all year long. 🙄

Stalkers?

12/22/17
We all know that 'he' sees you when you're sleeping, but this was a bit stalkerish! The kids woke up to a wall that was covered with a bunch of different pictures of them sleeping from various nights, along with the lyrics to "Santa Clause Is Coming to Town". Then they found George hanging out on the curtain in the boys' room and Elsa Sparkle was hanging out in Kalleigh's bedroom on her curtain.  I thought they would think that this was really creepy. They loved it!

Musical Chairs

12/21/17
The kids came downstairs this morning and discovered that George and Elsa Sparkle must have been playing musical chairs last night. They thought that it was funny that there were no chairs left at the table for them to sit and eat their breakfast.

Toilet Paper House

12/20/17
The kids came downstairs today and found toilet paper all over the living room. They were so hyper and started chanting and singing, "toilet paper house" over and over. They said that George is still being bad and that Elsa Sparkle had her eyes covered because she didn't want to look at the mess that George made. The kids love the toilet paper and want to keep it up.

Update on the 'mysterious' gifts from yesterday: This morning, Anthony went down to the basement. He insisted that he check to see if the gifts were back. LOL.

Some more highlights from the day...

12/19/17 - Some more highlights from the day...

Anthony came running out of school today. He said that it was the funniest day ever. I asked him what he meant. He told me that when he opened up his homework book, he saw that George wrote a note for him. He thought it was the funniest thing. He was also so excited that his teacher wrote a note back to George. That really made his day. Mrs. Lapinski, you rock!

When the kids walked into the house after school, Kalleigh noticed right away that there were two extra clothespins on the behavior chart. She was happy to see that George was on naughty!!

Later on this evening, the kids were playing hide and seek. Anthony and his cousin, Kaitlyn came running upstairs. They were yelling they found presents from Santa. I played dumb and said he must be seeing things. He insisted that I go downstairs and look. I told him that I would go look after I finished cleaning up the kitchen. In the meantime, I asked CJ to run downstairs and move the presents that they saw. When he saw that I was done cleaning up the kitchen, Anthony made me go downstairs, but the presents weren't there. He was so confused as to where they went. He carried on and described the presents he saw. He described what the different wrapping papers looked like and who they were for. The kids came to the conclusion that maybe George had something to do with this. All I can say is that CJ saved the day!!
