2015 Shenanigans

11/27/15
Here we go again! The kids woke up to a special delivery today. They were so excited to see that George and Elsa Sparkle were back. Looks like the elves were excited too. They couldn't wait for the kids to open the package... They busted out of it on their own.

11/28/15

The elves wanted to let us know that they love us and were so happy to back in our home. Kalleigh noticed that Elsa Sparkle has on a new dress. Kalleigh said, "They are so stylish!" Anthony said, "I wonder what they will do tomorrow!" Hopefully, they will be well behaved.... at least for now.

11/29/15

George and Elsa Sparkle added some garland to our tree. Anthony called it 'sparkly stuff'. That was very sweet of them. They thought our tree needed a little something extra. Kalleigh thinks it is so funny that they were hanging from the tree and holding hands. She also noticed George's new jacket. Since it's a varsity jacket, we think George is on the North Pole varsity soccer team!

11/30/15

The kids came downstairs and were surprised to see a big Hello Kitty blown up in the living room. They thought it was so funny that George and Elsa Sparkle were hanging from Hello Kitty's hat! My husband had to move that outside!

12/1/15

A Christmas tree in the bathroom? Our elves were definitely in the Christmas spirit. They wanted to make sure Christmas was all over the house! The kids had a hard time finding the elves on this day. They looked all over the house before they even thought about checking their bathroom. Anthony thought that the tree in the bathroom was really cool and wanted to keep it there.

12/2/15

We had quite the magical morning today! The elves were hanging out in the tree again and this time they had a very magical gift for the kids. They gave the kids a magic wand that they can use to turn the Christmas tree on and off.

12/3/15

Our silly elves hid the angel that was on top of our tree and replaced her with Anthony and Kalleigh's underwear!

12/4/15

George and Elsa Sparkle brought the kids chocolate advent calendars today. However, Since today is December 4th, I guess they took it upon themselves to eat the first three days of candy! They left the wrappers all over, chocolate on the floor, and even have a chocolate mess on their faces! The kids were still excited about their gift and thought it was funny that the elves had chocolate all over their faces!

12/5/15

Bad elves! They squeezed out the toothpaste and made a mess all over the sink! Anthony and Kalleigh were laughing hysterically when they found the elves. They said, "Our elves are silly!"

12/6/15

Since the kids camped out and slept in the living room, George and Elsa Sparkle slept in Kalleigh's bed. They thought this was so funny and it made Kalleigh so happy.

12/7/15

The elves brought the kids some coal today with a little letter to remind them to behave. I explained that coal is basically rocks, not the yummy chocolate that the elves left for them.

12/8/15

George and Elsa Sparkle were having a little fun with Kalleigh's Shopkins.

12/9/15

George and Elsa Sparkle thought that the picture would look much better with some festive hats!

12/10/15

George and Elsa Sparkle were sitting with the 'broken' magic wand and were covering their mouths! They aren't happy so they replaced the kids' big stockings with much smaller ones. This doesn't look good for the kids. No one was laughing this morning!

12/11/15

Since Kalleigh and Anthony celebrated their birthdays last night with a few friends, it looks like George and Elsa Sparkle decided to give them their own little gift by fixing the magic wand. However, it looks like they were too cheap to make or buy their own birthday cards for them. Instead, they just displayed all the cards that the kids received last night. 😂 When Anthony discovered what they did, he yelled, "Yes! They gave us a second chance!"

12/12/15

Well... it looks like George and Elsa Sparkle were looking to recruit some new elves because they turned the kids into elves. Kalleigh was laughing and thought this was so funny.

12/13/15

Somehow George and Elsa Sparkle got themselves tangled in Christmas lights! The kids were so excited that the elves also brought them an elf gingerbread house to make!

12/14/15

George and Elsa Sparkle surprised the kids with some new decor for their bathroom. The kids were so happy.

12/15/15

The elves found Kalleigh's Shopkins stickers and got a little carried away with them. Kalleigh's reaction to finding the elves was the best. She said something about them wasting her stickers, but then she started laughing. She said, "They are so silly."

12/16 /15

The kids had a hard time finding George and Elsa Sparkle today. They were hiding out in the freezer with a bunch of snowballs. It looks like they were getting ready for a snowball fight!

12/17/15

George and Elsa Sparkle had a little fun with the printer and used it to remind the kids that Santa is watching. Anthony thought this was so funny because he knows how I feel about wasting ink.

12/18/15

George and Elsa Sparkle were not very happy. They picked the perfect day to go on strike since the kids were all sent to bed early and they were still not very cooperative in the morning. Once they got downstairs and saw how unhappy the elves were, their behavior and attitude changed. Let's hope it lasts! 😏

12/19/15

George and Elsa Sparkle were on the mantle. They have the kids 'big' stocking stuffed in a glass vase (Anthony called it a jar) and the 'little' stockings were still hanging up. They have a little note explaining why they have not put the big stockings back yet. Kalleigh said, "At least they are happy today!" Anthony thinks this is just too funny that the stockings were in a jar. I told him that it's not going to be funny if they don't put them back.

12/20/15

George and Elsa Sparkle left a little note for the kids. They also put a felt Christmas tree on the wall and left some decorations for it. They love it!

12/21/15

George and Elsa Sparkle got the kids pretty good today. They thought that they didn't come back from the North Pole so they actually gave up looking for them. Then, Kalleigh went to get everyone spoons for their cereal and she didn't even notice them at first. As she went to close the drawer, she spotted them and started jumping up and down, while screaming, "I found them! I found them!" They thought it was so funny that they were hiding in the silverware drawer. Kalleigh also told her brothers, "Look! They are happy today!"

12/22/15

The kids' eyes lit up when they walked into the kitchen and saw what George and Elsa Sparkle did last night. Anthony said he wants to use it to play 'bowling', so of course Kalleigh is in panic mode that her brother is going to knock down the elves.

12/23/15

George and Elsa not only put the kids' stockings back, they also put stockings up for themselves! The kids were very excited when they spotted the stockings!

12/24/15

Kalleigh and Anthony had a hard time finding the elves today. They actually gave up and sat on the couch. They were talking to each other and said that the elves must have gone back to the North Pole. I told them that they were probably right. After a few minutes, I reminded them that in past years the elves didn't leave without saying good bye. They have always left a note! They got excited and started looking for a note. Their excitement when they opened the refrigerator was awesome. Anthony yelled, "I found them!" Kalleigh yelled, "People!!!" They were so excited to see Christmas lights, garland, bows and "people" in the refrigerator.

12/25/15

Merry Christmas! George and Elsa Sparkle have officially left the Lampert home. They left a note and did one last surprise for the kids before they left. It looks like they were on their way to enjoy a cruise before heading back to the North Pole! Bon voyage! We will miss them.

2014 Shenanigans

11/27/14
When we walked in from Long Island we found George waiting for us! The kids were so excited to see him.

11/29/14

Our elf, George was so thoughtful. The boys have a Christmas tree in their room and when they were setting it up, George must have heard Kalleigh say that she wants a tree in her room. Kalleigh was so excited when she woke up and saw this in her room. She came running into my room yelling, "I have a tree. I have a tree!"

11/30/14

George likes Kalleigh's room. He was just hanging out in there again. Kalleigh woke up and found him hanging from her chandelier!

12/1/14

It was nice to see that George was behaving. We wondered how long it would last. On this day, he was so thoughtful and surprised the kids with an Advent calendar to help them count down the days until Christmas.

12/2/14

Our silly elf put his very own stocking on our fireplace! The kids thought it was funny that there was a big 'G' on the stocking! That George is always so subtle.

12/3/14

This must have taken George all night to do! The kids thought it was so cool. Kalleigh kept yelling (in her cute 3-year-old voice), "George made a train!"

12/4/14

Poor George! It doesn't look like his flight went so well! His helicopter was stuck in the tree and he was tangled in lights. At least he looked cute in his aviator jacket and glasses.

12/5/14

I wasn't sure why George would put 5 Christmas trees in our living room. He's so silly! This thing was 12 feet long! Maybe he was just being nice and wanted to bring us a new inflatable for outside? I don't know, but he looks pretty proud of himself!

12/6/14

According to Olaf "This just got a little more complicated!" (That's a quote from the movie for all you non-Frozen fans.) But, George looked like a very happy snowman. However, Mom wasn't happy that he left snow all over the counter.

12/7/14

It looks like George had some fun with crepe paper streamers. He turned the coffee table into a Christmas tree! That must have taken him forever to make. I don't know where he finds the time. He's also looking pretty dapper in his new Christmas sweater.

12/8/14

George wanted to remind the kids that Jesus is the reason for the season. They noticed right away that the 'ornament' was way too big for the tree.
12/9/14
Oh boy! Or should I say oh GIRL? The kids came downstairs to find the tree all decorated with pink garland and banners announcing, "It's a girl!" They were ecstatic when they saw that George brought them a girl elf. Now he has a partner in crime. Kalleigh wanted to name her Elsa and Anthony said her middle name should be Sparkle. So... let me introduce you to... Elsa Sparkle.

12/10/14

George and Elsa Sparkle were just hanging out on the candy cane swing. We wondered what kind of other shenanigans they were planning while just sitting there!

12/11/14

I thought our elves were thoughtful and got us a new table for our anniversary. Nope! They were just silly. They wrapped up my old table. I guess they were practicing their wrapping skills and getting ready for Christmas!

12/12/14

Oh no! It looked like Buzz and Woody were feeling a little jealous that George has a new friend. They tied them up pretty good with garland and put tape over their mouths.

12/13/14

Kalleigh touched the elves so they lost their magic. I read online that cinnamon is vitamins for the elves. It said if you sprinkle the cinnamon on the elves, they will regain their strength and get their magic back. We tried it but they didn't move so we sprinkled more on them and hoped that helped. We were happy that they were still smiling.

12/14/15

It looked like George and Elsa Sparkle were feeling better and were ready to party. We were having a small family party for the kids' birthdays and our elves were kind enough to decorate for us. They even changed the garland on the Christmas tree to go along with the Frozen theme.

12/15/14

I was glad to see that Buzz and Woody were getting along better with the elves. They were playing their version of a potato sack race and Elsa Sparkle was in the lead! Girl power!

12/16/14

Our elves put all of the boys in Kalleigh's tutus. The kids thought Batman looked really funny. As you can see, George was laughing in the corner. Apparently, he thought he was hilarious. We're not sure how he got out of wearing a tutu.

12/17/14

George and Elsa Sparkle were enjoying a royal meal with the Disney princesses.

12/18/14

Uh oh! Looks like someone better clean their room!

12/19/14 - George and Elsa Sparkle were hanging out in the tree. They made a cute little miniature paper chain to help them countdown to Christmas. They were also holding little signs reminding them that there aren't many days left until Christmas so they better get moving on cleaning their bedroom.

12/20/14

George and Elsa Sparkle were tangled in a set of lights that were hanging out of the door to the pull-down attic stairs. They were also nice enough to bring a little present from the North Pole since Santa was happy that they cleaned their rooms.

12/21/14

Elsa Sparkle was feeling left out when she realized that George had a stocking on our mantle and she didn't. Problem solved. She added one for herself and made sure everyone would know it was hers! Our mantle is now complete!

12/22/14

George and Elsa Sparkle were keeping warm with their new hat and scarf while having some fun in the snow on their candy cane sleds.

12/23/14

George and Elsa Sparkle were hanging out in the kids' bathroom and being a little silly with some rolls of toilet paper. Apparently, they wanted to be snowmen.

12/24/14

I think George and Elsa Sparkle have lost their minds. There was garland and Christmas ornaments hanging all over the place in the hallway outside of the bedrooms. I guess they wanted to be a little silly before they go back to the North Pole!

12/25/14

Merry Christmas everyone! George and Elsa Sparkle have officially left the Lampert home, but not before leaving a note and doing one last shenanigan. When they woke up, the kids loved that they had to bust through the paper to get out their room.

12/26/14

George and Elsa Sparkle arrived at Walt Disney World. They wanted everyone to know that they were having a blast!
