Off to the Bahamas

12/25/18
And just like that, they’re gone. Before they left, they put some crepe paper on the kids’ doors and left them a nice letter. The kids will really miss having them around.

Candy Cane Scavenger Hunt

12/24/18
George and Elsa Sparkle were in a jolly mood. They left the kids some goodies and hid candy canes for them to find. The kids had fun looking for the candy canes.

Too much partying?

12/23/18
For the second night in a row, Anthony and Kalleigh were not home last night and George and Elsa Sparkle did not know what to do with themselves. It looks likes like they made some bad decisions and had too much to drink. Elsa Sparkle was paying for it this morning. She was not feeling well and tossed her cookies all over the floor. Hopefully, she will be feeling better by tonight. There are only two more nights until Christmas.

Hey! Where did everyone go?

12/22/18
George and Elsa Sparkle are feeling a little lonely and wondering where everyone went. None of the kids we’re home last night.  Kalleigh and CJ slept over a friend’s house and Anthony slept over Uncle Teddy’s. The poor elves seems very sad.

Popcorn Treat

12/21
The kids had a really hard time finding the elves today. It turns out that they were hiding in the microwave having a little snack. The kids thought this was really funny.

sELFies

12/20/18

It looks like the elves had some fun taking sELFies of themselves with the kids while they were sleeping. The kids found sELFie pictures hung up all over the Christmas tree. They loved it and were wondering when they took those pictures.

You Have Been Warned

12/19/18
Kalleigh was the first one to find the elves this morning while Anthony was still sleeping. She said, "Oh look. Anthony is on danger." ... ignoring the fact that she was on danger also. After Anthony got up and dressed, he found the elves on his own. Both kids laughed it off and thought it was funny that the elves were not smiling and they got a bag of coal. However, their behavior this morning showed that they took the message seriously. There was no whining or fighting this morning. Much different than the last two mornings!

Bathtub Suprise

12/18/18
The kids had a hard time finding the elves today. Anthony finally found them hiding out in the bathtub with a gingerbread house. They thought it was so funny that they were in the bathtub.

Jumping With Joy

12/17/18
Last night, Kalleigh changed the word 'On' to say, 'No' on the sign. She was happy to see that the elves didn't change it. The kids think that George and Elsa Sparkle are happy that the tree is finally decorated. They brought them a little gift so that they could write letters to Santa Claus.

Pariently Waiting

12/16/18
Anthony walked down the stairs this morning and thought the elves were boring. We must agree with him. They were just hanging out with a sign to remind us that there are only 9 days left until Christmas. We figured they must still be on strike since the tree isn’t decorated yet.

They mean business!

12/15/18
Well, I guess those elves mean business. They didn’t move today. We better get working on decorating the tree. 😳

Upset Elves

12/14/18
Well, it looks like the elves are on strike. My husband, Craig sent me this picture of them. Apparently, they are on strike. Kalleigh and I are in the Bahamas for her gymnastics meet. She thinks they must be upset that the tree isn’t decorated yet.

You’ll Need These

12/13/18
When Kalleigh went downstairs this morning she found the elves hanging out by the tree with a sign wishing her good luck. They also left her a pair of flip flops. Kalleigh was so happy because when we were packing last night, she realized that she didn’t have any flip flops that fit her. Now, we’re off to the Bahamas for the 2018 Atlantis Crown Invitatiinal.

Don’t Forget Us

12/12/18
The kids found the elves doing splits in the Christmas tree. They also brought a new sign that says, “Santa Please Stop Here”. We think the elves might be a little worried that Santa won’t stop if our tree isn’t decorated. 😬

Chocolate Toothpaste?

12/11/18
George and Elsa Sparkle are up to no good. They took Anthony and Kalleigh's toothbrushes and put chocolate syrup on them. Anthony was cracking up. He thought this was so funny. Kalleigh wasn't so amused. She thought it was pretty gross.

A ‘Little’ Reminder

12/10/18
The kids walked down the stairs this morning and were greeted with a big sign letting them know that Santa will be here in 15 days. We think the elves are starting to have some anxiety about the tree not being decorated yet.

Go For The Gold

12/09/18
Kalleigh's friend Andrea slept over last night. When the girls woke up, they found the elves hanging from the curtain rod with Kalleigh's medals. Kalleigh said they must be wishing her good luck at her meet today. This made her very excited. The girls also noticed that the elves had on new pajamas. These elves are so fashionable.

Pajama Party

12/08/18
The elves made up for trying to steal all the Lucky Charms’ marshmallows yesterday. When the kids came downstairs they saw the elves chillin on the couch inside new Christmas pajamas. Kalleigh was so excited. She thought it was so cool that they brought her pink jammies and that Anthony’s are red. That’s both of their favorite colors. ❤️

S-ELF-ISH

12/07/18
Wow! These elves are selfish! They dumped out the Lucky Charms and stole all of the marshmallows. The kids thought this well so funny. Well, Anthony thought it was hysterical and Kalleigh not so much (at first). Luckily we caught them in time before they ate them all.

New Ornaments

12/06/19
Anthony was the first one to the find the elves. When he saw them on the tree with his and Kalleigh's underwear, he said that he thought something was weird when he went to get his underwear out of his drawer. Kalleigh thought it was so funny that Elsa Sparkle was inside of her underwear. The kids figured that the elves must really want the tree decorated. Maybe one day, we will get around to getting it done.

The countdown is on!

12/05/18
The elves have been laying low and being pretty good. The kids found them still hanging out in the tree again this morning. They brought the kids a countdown plaque to show them that there are only 20 days left until Christmas... and the tree isn’t decorated yet.

Proud Elves

12/04/18
The elves seem to be so proud of Kalleigh and how well she is doing in gymnastics. When the kids came downstairs this morning, there was a huge poster clipped to the tree. It was a picture of Kalleigh at her most recent gymnastics meet. Kalleigh LOVED it. She was so happy. She wondered if they were there and took the picture.

Unicorn Surprise

12/03/18
When Kalleigh woke up this morning, she thought it was weird that her socks were missing off of her fee, but she didn’t think much more about it. When the kids got downstairs, it all made sense. The elves put all kinds of unicorn stuff in the tree, including the socks that were on Kalleigh’s feet. Kalleigh said that the elves probably did that because her birthday party was yesterday and it was unicorn theme. They also mentioned how they haven't moved much from the tree. Anthony and Kalleigh both said they probably want us to decorate it (our elves love when the house is decorated). The kids thought it was so funny that the elves were hanging upside down and the stuffed unicorn was holding them by their leg. 🦄 💕

Christmas Mess

12/02/18
The elves seem to be getting upset. They dumped the ornaments on the floor. Anthony said, “I think they really want us to decorate the tree!”

Ya Snooze, Ya Lose

12/01/18
Anthony and CJ weren’t home this morning because they both slept over friend’s house. When Kalleigh found the elves they had advent calendars for all of the kids. They also had chocolate all over their face because they ate CJ and Anthony’s candy. Kalleigh thought this was awesome, especially since they didn’t eat her candy.
